The design is a wheel. At the centre, on a blue-green oval, stands the single word THEOSOPHIA, and six panels are ranged around it in pairs, each listing the names and epithets that belong to one aspect. Archaic Wisdom Religion holds Divine Wisdom-Power-Knowledge, an all-embracing religion and science, truth and impartiality but not authority, the revealer of the origin of faiths, the religion of reason, esoteric religion, and gnosis. Ageless Wisdom holds the true reformer and deliverer of our time, a renaissance of ancient spiritualism, the common parent of all beliefs, the divine teachings of all ages, a faithful echo of antiquity, perennial philosophy and universal panacea. Divine Science gathers the aggregate of subjective and objective facts, esoteric science and knowledge, the forebear of science, spiritual knowledge, universal solvent, science of truth and wisdom of truth. Inner Wisdom holds esoteric Budhism — not Buddhism — Atma-, Brahma- and Jnana-Vidya, Gupta-Vidya or occultism, the entrance to inner life, true spiritualism, Dzyan and Bodhi. Wisdom of Love holds the ever-flowing perennial fountainhead, the quintessence of highest philosophy, the embracing of physics and metaphysics, the outflow of true religious feeling, Platonism and Neo-Platonism, eclectic philosophy and Philaletheia. Higher Ethics holds the Aryan-Chaldeo-Tibetan doctrine, ancient ethical worships, the secret or hidden doctrine, the esoteric or inner doctrine, the heart or ethical doctrine, the Heart's Seal and the Good Law. Above the wheel a verse describes a constant outpouring of spiritual knowledge, love and guidance for the Great Orphan, irrigated by compassion and charity immortal. Below it stands the sentence that gives the sheet its point — practical Theosophia is far more important than esoteric knowledge — followed by the passage from a Master's letter listing the golden stairs up which the learner may climb to the temple of divine wisdom: a clean life, an open mind, a pure heart, an eager intellect, an unveiled spiritual perception, a brotherliness for one's co-disciple, a readiness to give and receive advice and instruction, a loyal sense of duty to the teacher, a willing obedience to the behests of truth, a courageous endurance of personal injustice, a brave declaration of principles, a valiant defence of those who are unjustly attacked, and a constant eye to the ideal of human progression and perfection.
