Thirty-seven pages in two parts, revised in November 2024. *The second part is the reason to open it: it carries the Chaldaean Oracles of Zoroaster themselves, in the collection made by Isaac Preston Cory with Thomas Taylor's annotations — the same Cory whose Ancient Fragments* is held whole, as a scanned book, elsewhere in this section.

Part 1 is Blavatsky's commentary and it repeats, in compressed form, the position set out at greater length in "Glimpses of the Fathomless Mysteries of Zoroaster" in this same section: that Zoroaster is a generic title rather than one man's name, as self-created Thoth-Hermes is; that he founded the Magian religion and reformed magic as practised by the Chaldeans and old Egyptians, but did not found divine magic or theurgy. Two connective claims are made along the way — Apuleius is cited for the assertion that Zoroaster instructed Pythagoras, and Socrates is noted as saluting the rising sun exactly as a Parsi does today. A careful distinction follows on the sun itself: Solus-Sol-Sun is The One and The Most High, Helios, but there is a great difference between our sun and its prototype, the Central Spiritual Sun. The section then argues that Zoroastrian esotericism is identical with the occultism of theosophy and the universal secret doctrine, offering as evidence that Kalahamsa, the Swan of Time, is coequal with the Zoroastrian I am that I am, and dating the Chaldean divine dynasties in succession over a cycle of 432,000 years. Part 2 gives the Oracles proper, arranged under lettered headings — the first covering God, Father, Mind, Fire, Monad, Duad and Triad — as emanations of the unknowable causeless cause of spirit and matter.
