Proposition 1: The Seven Eternities

Fifteen pages on the first line of the Stanzas — the seven eternities slumbering in the night of the universe, when time was not. It is arranged *as a quick overview of the terms followed by the same points discussed at length*, so a reader can take the distinctions in summary first and then see them argued. The frontispiece is credited to Benny H.V. Andersson.

The distinctions are the substance of the file, and they are unusually clean. Eternity and the seven eternities are not the same thing, and the difference is stated before anything is built on it. Cosmic Pralaya differs greatly from deep sleep, which forestalls the obvious analogy. Duration is infinite while time is a finite conception; duration contains time, but time has no duration. Space and duration are one and the same, and one cannot imagine space as not being, because space always is. Each of these is given its page in the discussion with Blavatsky that forms the second half, so the file can be used to look up a single distinction as well as read straight through. A short closing section identifies Aiōn as a permutation of the famous IAŌ, and a page of suggested reading from this series ends the file.
