*A single-page diagram rather than a text, the first of a numbered set of seven drawings in this series. It is described on the sheet itself as a diagram cum emblem, drawn after The Divine Plan*, pages 218 and 342.

The sheet is built as an oval field on which the seven man-bearing globes are set in a ring: Globe A at the upper left descending through B and C to Globe D at the foot of the circle, then rising through E and F to Globe G at the upper right, with an eighth, Globe Z, above them all. A caption at the centre marks the reader's own position — we are here, on Globe D, Round 4, Root-Race 5, our beautiful Earth, fulcrum of the great Kalpa. Down the middle of the oval runs a caduceus: a winged staff with a white and a dark serpent twined about it, threaded with coloured spheres — a small white one at the top, then green, deep blue, yellow, red and white descending. A row of seven numbered boxes at the left has the fourth picked out in bold, marking the present round. The explanatory text at the foot states the doctrine the picture encodes: that impulses of spiritual consciousness evolve wave-like in a sevenfold pattern along a chain of seven man-bearing globes plus five unmanifested ones, revisiting each seven times; that a single passage through every globe is a planetary round, in the course of which forty-nine root-races emerge, each progressing through seven sub-races; and that every round repeats the evolutionary work of the preceding one on a higher scale. A table at the upper right gives the duration of each round in years, from 154,285,714 for the first to 1,079,999,998 for the seventh, totalling 4,319,999,992 — a Day of Brahmā, followed by a Night of equal length.
