Enoch on Those Who Are in Heaven

A two-page file built on one short passage from the third chapter of the Book of Enoch in Laurence's translation, with a pointer to "Blavatsky on the Book of Enoch" in the site's Blavatsky Speaks Series.

The passage describes what those in the heavens know, and what they know is order. The heavenly luminaries do not change their paths: each rises and sets regularly, every one at its proper period, without transgressing the commands it has received. Those in the heavens also behold the earth and understand what is transacted there from beginning to end, and see that every work of God is invariable in the period of its appearance. The last sentence brings the same regularity down to weather and season — summer and winter beheld, the whole earth perceived to be full of water, and the cloud, the dew and the rain refreshing it. The point being made by the arrangement is that the reliability of the visible order is itself the thing worth contemplating, rather than any exception to it.
