The Voice of the Will Is the Logos of the Silent All

At 125 pages by far the longest study in Constitution of Man, and the one that carries the section's cosmology at full length. The Voice of the Will is identified as the Atomic Point, the Logos of the Silent All — a veil concealing itself from the perception of lower minds. Fohat, the Light of the Logos, is described as personified electric vital power on the unseen as on the manifested planes, acting like a living Force created by Divine Will.

The doctrinal centre is a reinterpretation of the Fall. Before the physiological Fall, propagation of one's kind — human or animal — took place through the Will of the Creators or their progeny; what fell was Spirit into generation, not mortal man. To become a Self-Conscious Spirit, man must pass through every cycle of being, culminating on earth, since spirit in itself is an unconscious negative abstraction whose purity is inherent rather than earned. The rebellious Angel is then read not as a villain but as the first free agent: instead of remaining a blind functioning medium impelled by fathomless Law, he claimed and enforced his right of independent judgement and will, of free agency and responsibility — man and angel being alike under Karmic Law. Spirit, from being a functionary agent, became volitional and, substituting its own will for the Divine Desire, fell.
