Supplement to the Rise and Demise of Atlantis
Helena Petrovna Blavatsky · Atlantean Realities Series · 46 pages
This is the single-volume supplement to the Major Works study Rise and Demise of Atlantis, gathering in one file the annotations, the geochronology and the glossary. For a reader working through the main study from start to finish, it is the more convenient of the two arrangements — everything supporting is here, in the order the study needs it.
The annotations run through the same sequence the study raises: Angkor-Wat and the pyramids of Egypt built by the same hands; the arguments over Ogygia or Poseidonis and the White Island; the White Island as the Imperishable Sacred Land and the terms associated with it; the ethnic character of the Atlanteans; the dating of the destruction to between 850 and 700 millennia ago; the duration of a Root-Race and its subdivisions; the Pantheon's septiform personations; the secret records of the thirty-five Buddhas of Confession; and the seven keys to the evolution of consciousness. The geochronological table and the glossary of authorities and foreign words follow.
