The shortest of the three companion files, and the most unusual in method: a single comparative table, with explanatory notes, setting the conventional geological timescale directly alongside the chronology claimed by the Secret Doctrine. The left-hand columns follow the dates and nomenclature proposed by the International Commission on Stratigraphy, using the standard colour codes of the United States Geological Survey; the right-hand column, headed "Secret Doctrine", is drawn from David Pratt's 1999 paper on geochronology, theosophy and science. Time is given throughout in millions of years.

The background notes are edited from an encyclopaedic account of the geologic timescale and are perfectly conventional — the age of the Earth at around 4,570 million years, deep time divided into units by the events that mark them, boundaries defined by major geological or palaeontological episodes such as mass extinctions. What the file is for is the comparison itself: it lets a reader see precisely where the two chronologies agree, where they diverge, and by how much, rather than leaving the question rhetorical.
