Atlantean Credentials of the New World

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky · Atlantean Realities Series · 50 pages

The longest of the shorter studies in this series, and the one with the most concrete subject matter. Its argument is that the ruins covering both Americas, and found on many of the West Indian islands, are the work of the submerged Atlanteans — and the bulk of the document is Blavatsky's four-part study "A Land of Mystery", reproduced in full, in which the archaeology of the New World is read against the esoteric account of the Fourth Race.

Around that sit an appendix by Boris de Zirkoff, further notes to the Land of Mystery, and a picture gallery running to the end of the volume — which is why this is among the heavier files in the series at nearly six megabytes. The frontispiece is Hervé Scott Flament's Retour à Poseidonis. For readers who want the underlying framework rather than the evidence, the closing pages point to the companion material on the Fourth Race of Humanity and its fall into matter, treated at length in the Major Works volume Rise and Demise of Atlantis.
